- Excavate for a 6"–12" leveling pad of compactable base.
- Bury the first course 10%–20% of wall height minimum.
- Fill hollow cores with drain rock and install a drain pipe at the base.
- Above 3–4 ft wall height, engineered design with geogrid is required.
